The Beauty Sisters: Sherin Amara’s Wedding

Effortless elegance is what renowned couturier Rami Kadi envisioned for Sherin Beauty’s wedding. Known for his poetic craftsmanship and attention to detail, Kadi designed not only a custom bridal gown for Sherin, but also couture ensembles for her sisters, Narin and Cedra. The June 14th celebration featured three looks—distinct in form, yet united in tone—offering a visually cohesive narrative, one that blended; sisterhood, timeless grace and modern refinement.

The Bride: Sherin

Sherin gravitated toward a classic silhouette, interpreted with modern restraint. She envisioned a gown that felt modest yet regal—a nod to traditional bridal elegance, with the romantic sensibility of a princess-like design. Rami translated that vision into an off-white creation in delicate French lace. The gown featured a structured corset beneath a sheer highneck overlay, embroidered from neckline to hem in subtle threadwork-personally added by Rami to give the look gentle three-dimensionality. A voluminous skirt, romantic overskirt, and cathedral-length lace-trimmed veil completed the ethereal silhouette. Sherin saw the final gown only one day before the wedding —and immediately fell in love.

The Sisters: Narine and Cedra

Bespoke looks for Sherin’s sisters, Narin and Cedra, complemented the bridal gown and echoed the wedding’s tone; quiet elegance. Narin opted for a sculpted gold gown that felt both regal and aligned with the understated mood of the wedding. The design featured a halter neckline with a deep V-cut and a bold, structured collar—an architectural element that framed the silhouette with quiet strength. Layered atop this linear foundation, delicate floral and vine-like embroidery in tonal gold introduced texture and dimension, creating a luxurious, three-dimensional surface that shimmered with movement. The organic motifs softened the structure, contouring the body and balanced ornament with intention.

Cedra envisioned a gown that felt modern, feminine, defined by an open-back. Distinctly her own, Rami Kadi suggested a rose gold metallic hue —perfectly attuned with her complexion. The garment revealed a sleek body-hugging silhouette with a high bateau neckline. The gown was adorned with delicate Swarovski embellishments, while a soft and intricate criss-cross draping at the waist sculpted the silhouette and created an elongating effect. The ensemble embraced an open back design with elegant, beaded X-shaped straps and a subtle train. The final look radiated a luminous silhouette at once refined and unmistakably feminine

Rami recalled the creative process as fluid and instinctive, shaped by mutual trust and a clear shared vision. Each gown was an individual statement—distinct in character, yet cohesive within the wedding’s overall aesthetic code. A glimpse into the creative spirit of the collaboration comes through in Rami Kadi’s words— "Designing for Sherin and her sisters was a beautiful journey. Each of them had a distinct personality and vision, and my role was to bring that to life in a way that felt harmonious. It's always an honor to be part of such a meaningful day.”
