L’éventail reimagines the traditional handheld fan as a symbol of theatrical femininity, artistic liberation, and expressive identity. This collection transforms a once-silent object into a declaration of presence, transforming each gown into a gesture in motion.

Looks

The 42-piece collection merges sculptural precision with flowing movement, echoing the mechanical motion of a fan. Vertical pleating, corseted waists with metallic boning, and fishtail hems emulate the fan’s unfolding structure. Embellishments include sunburst beadwork, ombré gradients, floral appliqués, and metallic 3D elements. Art Deco geometry influences the embroidery’s symmetry and radiating patterns, bringing historical depth to each silhouette.

L’éventail draws its conceptual force from the evolution of the fan itself, from an object of silent obedience to a flamboyant extension of presence. The collection pays tribute to women’s historical use of fans as coded language, while reclaiming it as a tool of self-expression. It channels the bold expression and unapologetic femininity the fan has come to represent.

COUTURE CRAFTSMANSHIP

The palette moves between euphoric golds, oil blue, and electric cobalt, balanced with pale blue, crystal pink, and blush. Shades of Windsor Wine, Rumba Red, sage, and slate black bring warmth and grounding. These tones appear in gradients, reflective threads, and mirrored surfaces—echoing the shifting effect of a fan in motion under light.

FAN AS FORM

Every aspect of L’éventail is built around the motif of the fan. Sculpted column gowns mirror its folded symmetry, while godet panels mimic its expanding shape. Sunburst beadwork radiates from the bodice, and feathered textures flutter like a fan’s edge in motion. The pieces embody tension and release—structure and softness—crafted through meticulous couture techniques.
